Current Positions Available
Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
The nurse is a very significant part of the Multidisciplinary
Team at Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System. Some responsibilities
of this position include coordinating nursing care in collaboration
with other disciplines such as Psychiatrists, Addictionologists,
Therapists and Case Coordinators. The nurse plays a vital role
in communicating and interacting with the patients and their families.
Other responsibilities may include administering medications, monitoring
and reporting side effects, leading group sessions, maintaining
a therapeutic setting and offering support and encouragement to
patients at their most vulnerable time.
Clinician/Therapist
Another
significant part of the Multidisciplinary Team, the clinician
is responsible for a variety of direct clinical duties in the patient
setting. Responsibilities include providing Individual, Group and
Family Therapies, completing Psycho Social Evaluations upon admission,
completing Master Treatment Plans and working closely with the
Psychiatrists, Addictionologists, Nurses and Case Coordinators
on implementing quality care. The clinician plays a vital role
in allowing the patient and his/her family to work through a crisis,
quickly stabilize and return to the appropriate level of care after
discharge. Clinicians at Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System
must have a Master's degree and are preferably Licensed Clinical
Social Workers.
Mental Health
Technician
The
Mental Health Technician (MHT) works closely with other disciplines
on delegated assignments to meet the age specific physical, social
and behavioral needs of the patients. Under the direction of licensed
staff, the MHT ensures patient safety, fosters and actively assists
in maintaining a therapeutic setting for the patients and is constantly
interacting with the patients. Once trained, the MHT is also responsible
at times for leading educational group sessions. The Mental Health
Technician is an important part of the Multidisciplinary Team.
