1.What items can or should I bring to the hospital with me?
Items that should be brought to the hospital:
•  Undergarments
•  Socks
•  Shirts
•  Pants/Shorts
•  Pajamas
•  Tennis Shoes (1 pair)
•  Long sleeve shirt/sweatshirt
•  Coat
•  Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, lotion
•  Adults may bring: blanket/comforter, pillow, curling iron, electric razor, hair dryer
•  Optional items: 1 stuffed animal (in good repair)
* Bring enough items for 1 week - laundry services available on each unit.
* Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System has a strict policy on restricted items to be brought into the hospital due to the safety of our patients.

2. What is the length of stay?
The length of stay varies for each individual. The treatment team decides length of stay based on clinical information. All of our programs are short term except for the Willows program, which has a length of stay of 6 – 9 months.

4. What are the visitation hours?
Children:
                Thursday 5:15 - 6:30 p.m.
                Saturday 5:15 - 6:30 p.m.
Adolescents:
                Tuesday 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
                Saturday - Females 1:30 -
                Saturday - Females 3:00 p.m.
                Saturday - Males 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Adults:
                Wednesday 6:30 - 7:45 p.m.
                Sunday 3:00 - 4:15 p.m.

5. How do I contact someone if they are in the hospital?
Every person that is admitted to our facility is given an ID#. This number must be used when attempting to call or visit someone at the hospital. Anyone trying to contact an adolescent must first be on an approved contact list from the guardian.

6. Do you accept adult Medicaid?
No, the state of Kentucky does not approve freestanding psychiatric hospitals to accept adult Medicaid. A medical hospital with a psychiatric unit will be able to accept adult Medicaid.

7. Are you currently accepting employment applications?
Applications are available Monday – Friday at 3909 South Wilson Road, Radcliff or can be downloaded by clicking here. Applications are held on file for 6 months. If a position fitting your qualifications is available, the Director of Human Resources will contact you.
