Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140-bed hospital offering inpatient services for adolescents, adults, military, veterans and first responders. Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System has a spacious cafeteria, gymnasium, art/activity room, group rooms, classrooms and other areas to create a pleasant atmosphere for patients and their families. Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System’s quality services are provided by psychiatrists, licensed therapists, certified alcohol and drug counselors, activity therapists and teachers. Also, care is given by registered nurses 24 hours a day. Since 1986, Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System has been a proven psychiatric care provider in mental health and substance use.

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System accepts most commercial insurance plans. We are also Medicare, TRICARE® and Medicaid providers.

Assessment and Referral

We recognize that either you or your loved one may be experiencing a difficult time. Seeking treatment is often a difficult thing to do. However, the Assessment and Referral staff at Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is dedicated to making your experience as pleasant as possible. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a no cost, confidential assessment. Our assessment and referral staff will provide recommendations for treatment, which may include outpatient counseling, intensive outpatient counseling, day treatment or inpatient psychiatric/chemical dependency services.

The National Action Alliance

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is proud to work towards improving effective suicide prevention efforts within healthcare settings as called for in the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention (National Strategy). We are committed to providing education and resources to the communities we serve, working to provide best practice care to our patients.

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), which provides care through its national network of subsidiaries, has supported the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance) as an Executive Committee member for over a decade. The Action Alliance is the country’s public-private partnership, working to advance the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention, which includes the goal of expanding implementation of best practices for suicide care across the country.
